That was the week that was.

Short Bulletin this week. My "week that was" was in Tasmania - so no reports from the meeting I missed although there are some photo's from Ros who recorded our Guest Speaker Rob.

Jan and tried out the new Jetstar service from Avalon to Hobart, then had a great time looking at "The Wall in the Wilderness", taking a whole day trip on the "West Coast Wilderness Railway" sampling lots of seafood at various locations and finally a meal in a pub on the waterfront in Hobart - the "Hope and Anchor" first established in 1807  and claimed to be the oldest most continuously licensed pub in Australia. I hope you're all envious !!!

Humour ?

Humour ?

A girl was visiting her friend, who had acquired two new dogs.
She asked, "What are their names?"
The friend replied, "That one is Rolex, and that one is Timex."
Her friend said, "Whoever heard of someone naming dogs like that?"
"Helllooo?" said the friend. "They're watch dogs..."

While leading a tour of kindergarten students through our hospital, I overheard a conversation between one little girl and an x-ray technician.
"Have you ever broken a bone?" he asked.
"Yes," the girl replied.
"Did it hurt?"
"No."
"Really? Which bone did you break?"
"My sister's arm."

Things You May Hear Just Before Unemployment.....
* We told everyone you are leaving because of illness. The truth is, I'm sick of you.
* Its not that you aren't a responsible worker. In fact, you've been responsible for more disasters than any one else in the place.
* Today I'm going to mix business and pleasure. You're fired!
* I've got good news for you. You won't have to worry about being late for work 'ever again'.
* Tell me - how long have you been with us not counting tomorrow?
